Fresh Films Weekly Filmmaking Program

For teens ages 13–18. Make movies every week while meeting Hollywood Pros from across the industry. With over 30 sites, we’ve got a film crew for you! Paid summer internships also available!

What is the Fresh Films Weekly Filmmaking Program?

Each week you learn to make film magic! Film a social media video, create a movie scene for a Paramount+ film, script a documentary or make a music video for a real band. This is a sampling of filmmaking projects. Hands on is how you build essential pre-production (planning the film), technical knowledge (lights, camera, audio), and editing skills. By the end of the program, you’ll have a portfolio of film projects!

Tuesday sessions will include group writing work with guidance from Fresh Films’ Executive Creative Director & Emmy-Nominated writer Estlin Feigley, while Thursday sessions are reserved as virtual work days.

Screenplays “It Is What It Is” and “Friends When You Need Them” written in the 2023 program won Best Films at our 2024 short film premiere! Your script may be next!
